Beatzsick, also known as Cole Chapman, is a well known DJ/Producer from Salt Lake City, Utah. He specializes in Dubstep, Trap, Electro, and even Hip Hop.
A style like none other he likes to incorporate string instruments in his productions. His life of music started 15 years ago, when he began taking violin lessons, but it doesn’t end there. In his young ages he started traveling around with his father performing as a DJ for local events such as high school dances, concerts, county fairs. Following in his fathers footsteps, Cole began to have a passion for performing as a DJ. After attending many of the local EDM shows, he started falling in love with the electronic sounds heard world wide. It was at a show called Dreamland where he first saw an artist by the name of Odix perform. After the show he saw Odix walking around the crowd, stopping him to talk resulted in Cole scheduling his first DJ lesson. Since then Odix has been a big inspiration to Cole, who escalated to producing and audio engineering.
Beatzsick started producing in 2009. His trance influenced sounds moved to electro house and evolved into his bass music syle. One of his earlier productions titled “The Big Bang” was featured on Highway To Fame, a music organization that highlights artists world wide to get their music and name heard. Beatzsick released his first single titled “Soothing Violence” featuring MC Icy Blu and Vocalist Danika. His follow up release titled ‘Voices In My Head’ released worldwide along with a 5 track remix EP.
“My ultimate goal is to be able to live off of the music i make and perform. If it goes further than that, i’ll be living my dream. Music is everything to me. Music is life”. – Beatzsick
