Wizsdom MC, aka James Johnson born in the Dirty South, and raised in the Wild West. Wizsdom, a War veteran, comes from a family of entertainers, molded by his family he was able to take his music abroad, loving the very sound of music, regardless of the genre or style.
“Since we are all unique individuals, like music, we should all be individually unique.”
Wizsdom’s musical influences range from the Blues, to Glitch Soulazz. Like Louis Armstrong or Pretty Lights, Wizsdom believes that
“in order to know what you like, you really have to be introduced to all genres of music, then we can truly listen to the music and the artist.”
Wizsdom has performed Spoken Word, Poetry, MC, written and published poetry, and performs as a Lyricist in various venues such as street festivals, 4th & B Entertainment in San Diego CA, and the House of Blues in San Diego CA. Wizsdom has also performed internationally gaining exposure in various countries including Canada, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, China, and Hawaii while serving in the Army. Wizsdom has performed with various like-minded artists including opening for NWA in Los Angeles CA. Currently signed to Noize Cartel Records, Wizsdom has been collaborating, performing, as well as featuring on many projects which have been released worldwide.
Wizsdom is an Activist and a Revolutionist, with a reputation leads him to be known as a big people-person.
“Besides communication, I believe music is a great way for us to put aside differences and fellowship in harmony. I keep it real, I speak on facts, and I’m allergic to all forms of BS. I feel music is my life, it represents the highs and lows, and my successes and failures.”
